Machu Picchu Citadel (in Quechua: “Old Mountain”) is the greatest achievement of the Inca civilization, showcasing remarkable ingenuity and intelligence. It was built in one of the most challenging, rugged, and inaccessible terrains. Today, it is universally renowned for its impressive and unique ruins, as well as its breathtaking location on the edge of a cliff, with the powerful waters of the Urubamba River flowing far below.

We will pick you up from your hotel and travel to the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Machu Picchu Town. Upon arrival, you will walk approximately 200 meters to the bus station to take the shuttle bus, which will take you up the mountain in a journey of about 20 minutes.
Once there, we will begin a guided tour of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours. After the guided visit, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu at your own pace.
Later, you will return to Machu Picchu Town on foot and board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
