With our Cusco City Tour, you will explore the city of Cusco, a perfect introduction to everything that awaits you. You will visit the Cusco Cathedral and the Temple of Qoricancha, then continue to four archaeological sites around the city: the impressive Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Cusco is a beautiful city, located at 3,300 meters above sea level, renowned for its history and magic, leaving visitors truly amazed.
The tour begins with hotel pickup at 12:50 p.m., followed by a visit to the first site, where you will explore the impressive Cusco Cathedral. Next, you will visit the Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha, a complex dedicated to the religious worldview of the Andean culture.
We then head to Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca architecture located 2 km north of the city center, world-famous for its massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together with astonishing precision. Afterward, we visit Qenqo, a limestone outcrop carved with intricate and mysterious ceremonial designs.
The tour continues to Puka Pukara, which served as a control point along the Inca Trail. Finally, we visit Tambomachay, located 7 km from Cusco, popularly known as the “Inca Baths,” an important site dedicated to the worship of water.
